SDA is purpose-built housing designed to meet extremely high needs or extreme functional impairments of eligible Australians under the age of 65, funded by the NDIS.  All newly built SDA must comply with specific design requirements based on the living requirements of the Participant. There are four SDA design categories differentiated by the Participant’s required level of support and these requirements are in place to ensure that Participants can safely access high quality, well maintained SDA that meets their needs.
