Completed in October 2024 and as one of the assets in the Jarra Investment Trust Ten Fund, alongside NIDO Early School Butler, the Thornlie site was identified as being attractive for childcare due to it’s growing population, largely composed of younger families with good labour participation.

Jarra Property is pleased to have delivered 4 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Villas in Mandurah,.

As one of the assets in Jarra Investment Trust Twenty Five (the Fund), an unlisted property fund offering investors exposure to the Australian SDA sector, our team identified the Mandurah site as being suitable due to it’s location and ability to integrate SDA Participants within the community, executing a 10 year lease with a care provider.

SDA is purpose-built housing designed to meet extremely high needs or extreme functional impairments of eligible Australians under the age of 65, funded by the NDIS.  All newly built SDA must comply with specific design requirements based on the living requirements of the Participant. There are four SDA design categories differentiated by the Participant’s required level of support and these requirements are in place to ensure that Participants can safely access high quality, well maintained SDA that meets their needs.

Jarra Property‘s Pinjarra childcare development with Bloom Early Education received Development Application approval in October 2024.

The new childcare centre will offer 101 licensed places upon completion, with West to West Group engaged and construction due to start before the end of the 2024 calendar year.

Nido Early School in Wandi, delivered on behalf of LWP Property Group (now Satterley), was completed in September 2024.

Offering 92 places, the centre will provide high-quality childcare services for families in the Wandi community.

Adjacent to Butler train station, Jarra Property’s 92 place Nido Early School in Butler opened it’s doors to families in the local community in September 2024.

As one of the assets in Jarra Investment Trust Ten, development approval was received in April 2023 and the site was identified by the Jarra Property team as a strong site for childcare due to a forecast for strong population growth and a high composition of young working families.  The Butler site’s activity centre location, together with Butler Boulevard’s proposed connectivity to the Mitchell Freeway are expected to be positive service drivers for Nido Butler over the medium to long term.
